Broken case question

My 97 and 1/2 gray ghost engine keeps on giving me lots of things to work on. I had it rebuilt and when they sent it back to me it was broken in shipping. Any suggestions on a fix? I'm thinking I need to take it to a shop and have it TIG welded and have it machined so the gasket will seal on the case.

Honestly I would buy a set of good used cases. There’s really nothing great about the 97-1/2 as seadoo fixed its issues in 98’.

I bought a 98 seadoo GSX and double trailer that was running and basically got a non running 97.5 free as I paid $1,400 for the whole deal. So I decided to fix the 97.5 up. I fixed the case by heating it up with a propane torch, tapped it back into shape while hot as the whole case was bent up in the broken area and then used JB weld to fix the broken case. This may not be the most ideal solution. But doesnt look that bad. I have a TIG welder but didn't want to risk messing up the case more as I'm just now learning how to tig weld.
