As I was putting my carbs back into my 1999 challenger 1800 I managed to break the t-fitting that's on the mag carb. It is next to the brass fitting that connects to the pulse line. I removed the plastic fitting that was left and noticed a brass fitting that goes into the carb. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how did you fix it? Or do I need a new/used, ultra rare, no longer manufactured carb for it? Any leads on one or a workable replacement?
Thank you in advance! 20200822_232747.jpg20200822_232747.jpg20200823_165942.jpg20200823_165937.jpg

Just did the exact repair myself. You will need a 1/8 pipe tap, a "q" size bit, a 1/8 nipple, 1/8 tee, two 1/8 x 1/4 barb fittings, grease, thread sealer and brake cleaner or carb cleaner. Dip your drill bit in grease to catch the metal chips then carefully drill the brass nub out. Dip your tap in grease and thread the hole. Put the nipple in the tee before screwing it into the carb and tighten. Be sure to use thread seal and also blow the hole out with brake cleaner beforehand. Screw the barb fittings in and boom your done.
