bombadier sp 96'

I have 2 96 bombadier sp n they ran great the first time we ran them. Now they both will start fine n idle fine, but when you hit the throttle they take off great then stop, like they are choking down. If u let off the throttle they won't die n idle fine. Anyone got any ideas what the issue might be?
