Hello all, got a weird problem with my 94 gtx. Just finished rebuilding the top end and she runs awesome in a straight line but turning left or right she comes almost to a stop and starts coughing and sputtering and you gotta feather the throttle to pick it back up again. I did pull the plugs once when it did it and they were wet, now I had done a plug chop and at 1/4 and they seemed a little rich but nothing crazy so I leaned it out and no change. Any one got any suggestions that would be great. Thanks

Could it just be a bad wire in the handle bars?

Did you take off the intake while doing the top end? If you did, the rotary valve could be out of time.

Did you clean the carbs while it was apart? ( the needle and seat may be leaking)

There is a higher load on the engine when you turn... but generally it will only drop a few RPM.

If it was my ski... I'd clean the carbs, and verify the spark with the bars turned.
