I put my boat in the water yeasterday, the boat started fine ran strong for awhile then just shut off. It started back up ran for about 5-10 min then shut off again. When I tried to restart it does nothing, I can hear a little click like a car with a dead battery trying to start, so I took the battery out had it tested the charged it up and changed all the fuses and still the same little click. I am stumped. I pushed the started button 5x with no key and got a short and then a long beep. I hope you guys can help me out with this one.
Thanks Adam-

check the red/black cables fro corrosionat ends and brewakage under the heat shrinks.. If all good, then i say its the relay. Follow the red able from battery to the elect. box, Inside box, you'll see the unit, that the red cables attach to, jump the relay, if it kicks the starter, then replace it, but same time, check the cables...

Will do, out to check right now. Thanks!

I think that the starter solenoid might be bad, that is what is clicking when I push the start button. But would that make the engine shut off if it goes bad? I thought it might since if you push the start button when running it shuts off the boat.

just took my started out and up to the boat shop they tested the starter and said it works. I put back in the boat and nothing still.

your crack'n me up...(not laugh'n at oyu, stud..)..out the door...still nuth'n....

Still think its a bad post, homey. If you got a buddy with a seadoo, above 96...ask to switch post, but use your landyard...

Thanks for the help, Do you think it would still be the post even though when I hit the start button it get a signal to the solenoid? I will check that too. Also I wonder if the netural switch is bad??

wouldn't be nuetral switch, cuz it would beep at you, weather 4 if out of nuetral, or 1, once you engage it to nuetral.

You put landyard on, hit button, BUT you get a click'n/vibrating sound from electric box? But while out riding other day, it just shut off on you?

Install landyard, but, instead of hit'n button, pull the wires from back of it, and "touch" them..?

Reached under the dash pulled the harness apart for the post hit the start button then pluged it back together and got 2 beeps. When I pushed the button it had one long beep.
