I've read several Threads on this subject and I want to engage some further input.

First, can I simply mix oil to the gas and bypass the whole process of bleeding the oil as a member wrote some time back?

If not, then I have an idea that may be simpler than removing the bleed plug which can be difficult to access.

What if I add a "T" on the oil line between the filter and engine, (or at the filter exit to the engine) then run a separate hose from the "T" to a container and look for air?

Then, pinch the oil line between the engine and oil filter and secure the oil filter to the oil line.

I think that is a great idea, but, being only a Shade Tree mechanic, maybe I am missing something???????
