black rubber pipe coming off exhaust??

Hi guys, I have a sportster di boat, and in the engine bay there is a small black water pipe coming off the top of the exhaust but the other end is not connect to anything, and so when I run the boat, this spits out water into the engine bay...

Can anyone tell me where the other end is supposed to connect to?

Post a picture... but it sounds like it's off the water regulator. If it is... that goes to the head pipe.

thanks Tony, I checked and found that it connected to the outlet where the water comes out by the bombadier sticker at the rear.
