Black liquid

97 gtx i just notice their is black liquid all over my engine not sure where its from from where should i start looking

Rave valves. Either the bellows have come off the bottom. Or the O-rings are bad.
Just an idea.

Will this harm the engine if nit repaired right away?

I am having the same problem on my 97 GTX. I ran it for the first time (I just bought it) and had black liquid down each cylinder. Is this something that will ruin the engine or can I have this addressed at the end of the season? It ran great, noticed when I got home to do my post ride maint.
