Bilge Pump !?!

Do all you guys install bilge pumps on your pwc's, around here (on the ocean) you must!
or flood! been there dont that (not good) and if you do make sure you buy one with a float switch and not electronic monitoring or you will a dead battery in 3 weeks, unless you hook it up to an off/on switch or a battery cut off switch. On my Explorer I carry an extra pump with alligator clips and 6' of hose, saved 3 or 4 skis a summer from flooding! and recieved alot of free beer! (after of course)

We are just new to jetskis but we have a older 94 seadoo and I think i am going to install a bilge pump and just run it off a toggle switch just to have it there if needed...I did some reading here and did not find alot about if people install them or not and in what location in the hull.I know to rear as far as possible but its pretty narrow in the center to get the pump really low...
