big rock in impeller!

So this is the end result of a big rock that goes through my intake grate.....

regardless its all fixed now, got a new one in place with seal and she's good to go!

It happens. I did the same thing last month. BUT... Polaris uses all stainless steel in the pump... so no damage !! (That's my Genesis pump)

this side is worse, it bends super easy i guess.. this is the aftermath... couldn't even get the rock out lol

well the rock must have gone in vertically because horizontally wouldn't have fit, i find the intake grate shout be a grid shape rather then 2 long slots.... kinda stupid design i find

If it was a grid... the drag would be so bad, that you would scrub about 10 mph off the top.
