best wear ring

I need to change my wear ring on my 97 GTX and going to rebuild my pump at the same time. i'v seen so many different wear ring for sale but witch one is the best? or should I just stick with OEM?

In the past I've always used OEM, however the last time I used a Delrin wear ring from SBT, Delrin is OEM for 4-tek's. So far so good, however I'm not recommending it yet, time will tell.

I tried an aftermarket unit from OSD but had issues with the fit. Tight in some spots, lose in others. Not sure if was my install, a warped housing, or the wear ring itself. Think next time I'll go OEM for $10 more.

Hmm. I've seen those white ones but never tried them. That's a pretty good deal with the seal included. I've used about 10 of the cheap black ones recently and had two failures already. They just got all ate up like a dry 17 year old one would. I thought the bearings must have been shot out but no.

Minne has always said OEM and I started driving down to the dealer to get them for my keeper skis. It's about $65 but worth it. They install and fit better. You can feel more of a rubberized texture and the cheap ones are "plasticy".
