Hi, I am getting my 951 rebuilt. It gets ridden very hard. It will remain completely stock. A lot of shops near me can rebuild it for a nice price with WSM pistons and a rebuilt WSM crank. Is WSM quality? Should I expect around the same life out of it as OEM?

WSM is ok. The best pistons for it would be the OEM DI pistons. For the best crank sadly seadoo doesn't sell them anymore. When I get my 951 crank done I will be sending it to Competitive Crankshafts. Don't forget the balancer either.

What are your thoughts on pro x pistons?

I've been hammering a 951 all wsm motor in an xp. I have to say I'm impressed and I don't know what will fail first, it has just been too consistent.
Natchi bearings on the counterballancer.

The only oem thing I go for is the base gasket. Because I choose based on chamber volume and squish.

My OEM is not rebuildable that is why I am looking for a new one. Any thoughts on which is better a WSM balance shaft or Hot Rods?

Oem seadoo made in Austria or Taiwan depending on what it is.

Aftermarket WSM made in Taiwan!!!
All the wsm cranks are made in Taiwan and i have yet to see a bad one.
Hotrods, I have no idea where their parts are made or assembled.

Testing two hotrods at the moment.
