Balancer and Crankshaft no match

Hi group, i just put my rxp 255 engine back together with a spare crankshaft from another ski that i buy on ebay. Now i have a big problem that i cant get an answer to. I already asked Sea Doo directly but no clear answer from them.
So after i put all together and put the crankshaft locker in place i noticed one difference to all other engines that i repair before, now the markings on my Crankshaft and Balancer don't match like before. What could be the reason and could it be that it don't really matter since the locker is in place and all parts are in the right position except the Balancer.

The crank locking tool goes into a hole in the crank lobe. You can shine a flashlight through the opening in the block and clearly see the hole that the tool goes in the crank lobe. Line up the crank/cb marks and you should see the hole. Then screw the crank locking tool in so that it engages into the hole. There may be other holes in the crank lobe as well but those are just for balancing, not for locking the crank. I'm guessing you are in one of those if you are in a hole at all.

It does matter, other words you'll never get the camshaft on in the correct position in relation to the crank. Then you will smash a valve as soon as it cranks over.
