I can’t find this piece in the manual, it is off a 96 gts, could someone tell me what it is and where it goes, and what is its purpose?CC99ABE9-C06F-4593-8B48-150143A64EEE.jpegCC99ABE9-C06F-4593-8B48-150143A64EEE.jpeg

That's a bailer....

I don't know about that particular ski but they usually go between the engine and pump towards the rear on the bottom of the hull. There's a metal clip that holds it down. It sits in the recess of that rubber boot.

The hose goes up and connects to an elbow just under the seat at the rear of the hull opening. On my ski there's two bailers

That's correct. It's your bilge pump and there should be 2 of them. THe elbow needs to be mounted high then the tube that's missing goes down to the pump and exits out the back of the ski into the pump.

No, this is the bilge pump, it operates on the vacuum from the jet pump water.

The pisser is what sprays a little bit of the engine cooling water over the side su you have a visual indication your cooling system isn't plugged. No water out the pisser = no water cooling your engine.

To clarify something... doesn't the two elbows the bailer hoses connect to have a special orifice? I don't want to see him having flooding issues. Kmarts this is what they mean by mounted high in the ski. Hope this helps.SPI Bailer Hoses elbow.jpg

No orifice but they do have a small hole in them that needs to be clear so water doesn't siphon back into the ski from the lake.

In etemplet's reply he shows a hose with a green arrow pointing to it, I also have this and have no idea where it goes. Could someone help?

Could be the battery vent line if it's near that area. I'm not sure on the 96' GTS hull, on the 96' GTX hull it runs up front.
