I have a 2004 seadoo gti can anyone tell me what the bailer screens do that are on the bottom behind the motor. Do they help get rid of any water on the bottom? Or would I need a bilge pump for that?

They keep the junk out of the bailer hoses. The bailer system sucks the water out of the hull while you are running. If you look into the pump nozzle, you will see 2 tubes hanging down behind the impeller. When water rushes past, that makes a suction... and that's what pulls the water out of the hull.
