Hey guys. 2012 GTI 130 here. I have a bad vibration problem, engine rpm doesn’t stay constant in idle but i can get to full speed. Any ideas? Friend may have sucked up a tow rope, not 100%. But if it’s a bent impeller, why would revs not stay constant in idle?
Thanks

First step is to pull your ski out and check your intake grate an impeller.

Until you know that that is clear, I would avoid top speed runs.

Most likey something ledges in the pump somewhere. But it could be damage to the wear ring and impeller. There could also be a few more causes. But let's start small by just looking

Hey guys. CraZy coincidence. On the trailer impeller looked ok But had another run and listen and checked the coils. One coil was beat up. Made sure was pressed down all the way and ran like new. Vibration must have been running on 2 cylinders. Ordered set of three and I think all is well. Thanks!
