it`s a long story, bottom line is my new 2006 has only 3.5 hrs on it and it`s cracked from stem to stern from the minute it arrived, and no hepl at all!!! call after call only to stretch out the time on the warranty so they can tell me it is no longer under warranty.

your best bet is contacting BRP directly, the only luck i had with them was filling a ticket out on their website, then they called me about 2 weeks later... If you dont get anywhere with BRP, then i would go through the BBB.

I wish you best of luck. Quick question, how long have you had it?

bad sportster

Well,i purchased this aug-25-2006 new!! from the time it arrived we noticed a crack about 1'' and we were told it may have been when the wake tower was installed.they offered us a factory cover if we kept it and it would not void the warranty,so we figured why not.boy was i stupid!!! it cracked from stem to stern, as of now 3-20-10 it has 3.5 hrs on it.we took it to a local dealer due to it being over 3hs to bring it to the dealer we purchased it from.and that`s were the fun began...i guess there is a hate factor between the place we bought it from and the dealer we brought it to.we were told by the dealer who wrote it up that the dealer we purchased it from was selling boats that were salvage new or back door deals from seadoo i have no clue if this is true, but it has been nothing but a nightmere for us.all any one does is stretch out the time so the warranty would be over and we would be stuck with a stone.also not to mention the wake tower has slpit in the middle of the weld, and we never used it ever!!!!well i could go on whining but i think you get the story....

bad seadoo sportster

just so you understand, the only reason it has low hrs is because the fiberglass shop told us not to put it in the water, we were told it could delaminate and would be very dangerous...

I understand

You need a lawyer a.s.a.p.!
Have the dealer you have taken it to give you a read out on the B.U.D.S
system (if even possible). This will show your speed and RPM history. Since it is before the 10hr break in period, I'm sure you followed the break in procedures (therfore you could have not been wreckless enough to do that kind of damage, jumping wake's and all). These boats are very nimble and powerful and could easily do that..
See seadoo in court.
If you have any acknowledgement from the dealer who sold you the boat on the original damage, even better..
good luck on that.
