I have a 2002 GTX 4 Tec, and when I start it, it runs as if I am using the learner key. After a while it opens up and runs right, but if I shut it off and start it up again, it does the same thing. Can the keys go bad or is this an electrical problem.
That is not a key issue. Is the gauge trying to tell you something ... warning light?
It may be something as simple as spark plugs. If in doubt, replace them.
