I set off for a ride today on the Ohio and noticed a lot of debris in the river. I started heading back and, you guessed it something apparently sucked into the pump. Probably wood. Didn't sound good, the ski is now noisy and has a lack of power. I looked at the leading edge of the impeller from the inlet side and there are nicks. What do I need to do to further investigate? This is my first ski, it's a 1996 seadoo GTI. Thanks

Pull the pump off so you can get a better look at the impeller and wear ring. While the pump is out pull the driveshaft as well and roll it over a flat surface to make sure it isn't bent. Sounds like you trashed the impeller/wear ring.
