I'm assuming what's good for mineral oil and perhaps diesel, is close to seadoo oil. There are some heavy metal salts/ash such as calcium not sure which others.
FWIW, outboard oil (TCW-3) of course isn't applicable but includes hydrazine as a detergent thus often I've noticed an ammonia smell presumably from that.
One other idea I forgot to mention might work for tiny hose clamps is heat-shrink tubing but be careful not to overheat the tygon.
