ATM Carbon fiber engine cover / hood Sea Doo XP / XPL

I've got an ATM engine cover / hood from a 1999 Sea Doo XP Limited... I think it will fit Sea Doo XPs from '97 - '01?

The cover is beautiful, with a high gloss finish. There are a few small bubbles on the front nose, and the typical minor scratches/defects from normal use. There is also some cracking around some of the bolt holes as indicated; however, the cracking appears to be primarily superficial, and in no way affects the integrity of the hood.

The cover comes with the rubber seal, and two rubber rings on the intake ports.

Asking $725 obo.

Thanks! Eric

$725 for that beat up hood? Thats crazy to me, guess thats why we left knoxville, moved there for a year and had to get out of there fast people are crazy, even at garage sales the stuff is more expensive then brand new in the store!

That hood has seen much better days yet you want as much for it as a carbon fiber hood for my truck? You can get some seadoo fiber hoods for under $400 new, maybe its just me but I would have never thought they would be that expensive.

Hi there!

Thanks for the warm welcome to the site!

The hood is not really beat up at all. The pictures that show some imperfections are extremely magnified. The hood does show some typical wear and usage as indicated, but nothing that effects performance, and nearly nothing that is seen when installed on the ski.

As for the price, well the last one on ebay went for $8xx. I figured asking $725 or best offer was a place to start!

I'm relatively new to this sport, and have really been enjoying it. In fact, MOST of the people I've met have been really friendly.

Have a great day guy!

No, we do welcome you to the site it is a great site and everyone is very friendly, I edited the post. Its more so that when we lived there it seemed like everything someone was trying to sell you could buy it for less new, thats all I was trying to say. Have you listed it on ebay yet? I found a site that sells those carbon hoods for about $400 brand new, not atm but none the less very nice hoods, thats why I couldnt beleive you where asking that because I could not find any that cost that much new.

Lol...ya I've met those people as well!

I'm honestly not trying to rip anyone off...in fact, I usually end up taking a pretty big loss on everything I sell. I was under the impression that this was a fair price, but I'm willing to take offers!

BTW, that's a sharp looking truck you've got...
