I think I indeed need a set as well. I spent most of my Memorial day bouncing around on the rough water. Hopefully these can help.

I got to ride on smooth water without bouncing around on Friday. Wish I had a set of tabs.

Tell me we might have some before the seasons over.

Sure... if you want to send it/them to me, to take measurements from... it will make my life easy.

I've been talking with Skoolball and I told him that a couple years ago there was mixed feelings on the tabs... so they were put on the back burner. But, since spring is on us... I'm getting busy... so this project's speed will depend on how many people want them. If we get 20 guys say... "I WANT THEM!!!!" then they will take priority in my shop. if 5 guys want them... I'll work on them when I get a hole.


Just an FYI... in my shop:

1) 3 sets of Carbs
2) Inventory on my motorcycle parts
3) Prototype for a trunion. (RC parts for a dealer)
4) Prototype for a steering tiller (another RC dealer)
5) A speedster with 2 bad engines. AND, he also wants a 2nd battery in stalled, fix the fuel gauge, and bilge pump.
6) Suzuki DRZ head machined for manual decompression.


Unfortunately... my own inventory is getting put at the bottom of the list, even though I have open orders. The carbs need done at the beginning of next week. The head is getting done today. And I have the boat at my house so I can work on it this weekend.

So... even if everyone wants them... I'm about 3 weeks out on starting again. (not trying to be harsh... just want to put that out there)


If this subject was brought up 2 months ago (when it was cold) I would have worked on it, just to keep me busy.
