Any pro tips to keep gasket from falling off while bolting on carbs on 787. Doing this myself and can't seem to.get angles right to keep gasket from falling off before I bolt it on

I wound up using a combo of threaded rods 8mm and some grease. Old trick for replacing manifolds on boats where is hard to get to angles to see screw holes. Dabbed some grease on gasket to get it to stick then Screwed in some threaded rod in 3 holes then slid carbs on to align carbs, then Screwed in first screw removed a threaded rod replaced second screw. Rinse repeat

I used a round wooden dowel I had that fit the bolt hole hole. I cut 4 pieces long enough to protrude out of the bolt holes around 3 inches, put them in, placed the gaskets, then the carbs. Removed one dowel at a time and replaced with bolt.
