Any Tips for how to pack/ship an engine?

Hey all,

I need to ship my engine off to have the crankshaft replaced, does anyone have any tips/tricks for shipping the engine?

It seems kind of big/heavy to pack in a cardboard box, I was thinking of building a crate..

I have seen others use the big plastic rubbermade type tubs.
