I'm near Media, PA. I've only ever dunked my skiis on the Delaware near the airport and of course sucked something up out in the middle. Cousin towed me over to some random beach in Jersey so I could fish it out.

Lol, sucked a bottle cap up coming out of the Navy yard one time. No bodies yet though. If you go north it gets nicer. Rancocas Creek is across from Linden Ave boat ramp. One of my favorite rides check the Tiktok out.

Lol the main Delaware can get a little rough too. Always wanted to ride from Philly to the canal. Just don't know if there's fuel down that way. We did 80 mile round trip last year from OC NJ to Beach Haven LBI. Pretty legit ride with fuel stops, mile or 3 in the Atlantic. But all done on 90's skis. Pic was heading into Atlantic City

Now that does look fun. Yep, I've looked into doing other similar things but fuel has always been the issue. I know Chesapeake City and Delaware City have fuel on the canal itself, but I don't think there is anything in between. 50 miles one way.

Right there with you. One of the 2 97 SPX's I picked up this winter. Wet sanded, cut and buff is done. Rebuilt the carbs already, pump is rebuilt. Just need to finish the assembly and tweak the colors

The one I'm doing now is ready for sand and buff and reassemble. My other 717 is next, new engine ready to go in. Then my XP I have new graphics and sand and buff. Is there anywhere you can get the black rubber "carpet" or know where to get seats redone? I don't like anything aftermarket, I like to restore to original condition and colors.
