Any mechanics in Texas? 96 xp

I had a 96 xp that was modified quite a bit.
Came into hard times about four years ago and sold it to my cousin.
he’s offered to sell it back to me but it’s been sitting in his shop this entire Time and
I am a little concerned because I’m guessing it hasn’t been winterized or maintained at all.

are there any mechanics in the Houston, Austin, San antonio area that will work on this ski?

I need someone to look over it and
Make sure it would even be worth while to own again.
I am sure it will need to have some work. If
You or someone you know would be willing to do this or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
I don’t have time to mess with it. But I loved that ski and want it back. Haha. It’s a very nice rig.
Lots of aftermarket work and it was done right.
im just Concerned it may not be worth it to fix if it’s been messed up from sitting too long.

I haven't found much. I visited www.wfoperformance.net once in Houston and they appeared knowledgeable, but a pretty small shop. I ended up going the DIY route.

Hhmm,,,aftermarket parts can be a hindrence sometimes,,,that is a great fun machine,,,I have one,,,and well worth your investigation,,,
My first move would be to see if the crank rotates freely by hand,,,and then do a compression test,,,that will at least tell you if you are going to need engine work.,,if it does not rotate freely,,,( pump out),,,then no sense doing a compression test.

I sent the ski to
Group k for all the work. It was all done proper.
no junk and always maintained. That’s why I want it back. I invested a lot of
Money. All I have to do is give
Him the $1500 back he bought it for. If
I could find someone to check it. And at least let me
Know if it’s worth while.
