Another mpem question! Sorry!

First, yes I did a search and read tons about bad mpems and the 5a fuse continually popping due to a bad diode. Well my mpem 5a fuse stays intact but the 15a in the coil/selinoid box pops as soon as I put a fresh one in. Stater issue maybe? We were all ready to go this weekend and I test started both and then went to restart and it had no beeps, cranks, dead.
It's a 1997 GSX.

Yes, you will have to loosen front mount, wood block up the engine to open the cover. Water in the rear E-box can also blow the 15.

Ebox was totally dry, looks like I'm heading to check the stator tomorrow. Any definitive tests that I can do to qualify it as my problem?
