OK, Have had my ski's for about 2 months now, and there are a few points of interest that i have discovered out in the waters of the panama city area. So far i have cut the engines in about 3ft of water and beached them. I havent noticed any scuffs, but i would prefer not to do this, which leads me to my questions.

My main being what type of anchor should i get? Should i get the mushroom type, or a grapling hook type(foldable or non)

How many should i get, should i get one anchor and tie off the other ski to the anchored one, or should i get one for each.

If it is only one, how should i tie off the ski's? I know of the mooring loops by the steering colum, and the ski eye on the back, any recomendations. Should they be close side to side, or should i have one drifting?

Thanks again for your time and knowledge.

depends on the floor bottom, I have two that I use a navy style one and the foldable claw. Im sure these are not the techincal terms, a buddy off mine uses the sandbag and has never had a prob, use a float and hook it to your front eye hook . I hook one upfront through the eye hook and one to the back never had a prob

I would reccomend against the mushroom one, I bought one cause it was cheaper and threw it out after one use never hooked up properly

hope this helps

with the size of your craft i would recommend a claw type. the mushroom would probably work but if you get some decent waves your ride will probly drift. tie to the loop on the center of the front of the hull you should be A-ok. FYI the longer your anchor slack the better your anchor has a chance on grabbing.
