So. Did a first test run with the jetboat and couldnt get it to run properly. Bogging when pushing the throttle and whatnot.
Noticed that the throttlebody closest to the oilpump had alot of oil in it.
Removed the reeds & discovered a shitload of aluminium shavings on the inside of it.
Also alot of shavings when reaching in & touching the crank.
No wierd noises when running the engine.
Former owner told me he completely rebuilt the top end. Was able to confirm this by looking at the pistons/cylinders.
So.... im guessing im going to have to completely rebuild the bottom end of the engine.
What do you guys think is going on with this one?
Also, have been looking to buy a workshop manual for the 2007 Seadoo 3D di.
Cant find one?

You will have to tear it apart and there is no way of knowing the issue until you do.

Contact @JoeZ for the 3D manuals. You might have to be a premium member though.
