Air vent for oil tank?

is this tube supposed to be attached to the oil tank, found it just hanging inside not attached to anything, and it runs to outside of the hull

Pretty sure this isn't a seadoo Spark.
If it's a 2-stroke seadoo which it sure looks like then it is the battery vent tube for flooded batteries.

It is a 2 stroke, does that tube attach to the battery itself?

I was giving you crap because you posted in the SPark section.

Yes it attaches to the side of the standard flooded batteries. If you have a sealed maintenance free battery it isn't used.
