So Id like to add a voltmeter to my spi. Probably unnecessary, but the voltmeter was only $10 and I already have the weatherpack terminals and connectors to wire it in without cutting into the factory harness. I was thinking of taking power and ground off the fuel gauge feed. Any reason i couldnt do this? Is it safe for the mpem to pull power off the fuel gauge power?

I searched a little, a couple of the seadoo boat guys did it, but looks liie they pulled power from a different accessory.

Thanks for the help

A volt meter doesn't pull any real current... so you will be fine tapping into the gauge power.

Thanks doc, it's a small lcd voltmeter that pulls about 40 milliamp. I didnt think it would be an issue, but I wanted to double check with the experienced here since mpems seem to be kinda fragile.
Thanks again.
