I have my injection blocked off
And have the lines looped together.
After I had 5 hr’s on the rebuild I noticed that the oil on the loop dropped. It went from a 8” bubble to a12 or 13” bubble I topped it off and now at 10 hr’s it dropped again. The boat has sat for 2 weeks I started it and it didn’t smoke like a bad seal.
I did notice that when I rev the engine
the oil level in the loop moves up an down with the rpm’s.
What is it a bad RV seal?
Thanks for reading

I would just run the oil tank. If the level drops the sensor will light the lamp on your gage warning you you're low but still plenty high that you couldn't do damage. I never could understand why guys ditch the tank.

It’s an old race boat
What do you think it is?

OK, so......what one is it? 92 XP, 96 Xp, or the 96 Blaster. I'll rule out the last one since were on a seadoo forum and they don't have an RV. I guess I missed in your first post about the race boat. Many many guys here seem to switch to pre-mix when they have issues and then proceed to remove the oil tank cause they want to "remove weight" or what they deem"unnecessary" items....on everyday non-race skis. Hence my reply. Rather than just leaving it and actually using the built in warning system if the tank gets low. Please, just give a little more detail when posting, it would make it easier for everyone. So, if you don't want to install a tank guys use a motorcycle brake master cylinder reservoir off ebay. Then mount it and loop the lines to it to make it easy to top off. But.......it's possible the cranks seals are weeping, or is there oil in the bottom of the hull? I've personally knicked the oil line when re-installing them.
