!997 Seadoo XP Starting problems

Hi i own a 1997 seadoo xp and every year there seems to be a new problem with it...
AT the end of last season it woulndnt turnover and it sounded like a dead battery so we tried a couple different batteries and it still woulndnt start. Now when we try to start it it will beep when you attach the key put when you try and start it it just sounds like fast clicking... i opened up the engine cover to see what the sound was. It was coming from the black electronic box (the name i do not now). We opened the box up and all the cables were attached and not corroded.

Can anybody give some tips to what it may be?

hey bud, put key on, and inside the box, where you were hear'n the "click", theres a relay in there, jump the 2 post. If it kicks motor over,then, first inspect the cabes from relay to starter and your grounds, before buy'n a new relay.
