I replaced the bilge pump today on my 99 XP. It hasn't worked since I got it earlier this year - it was completly siezed up.
There is no power to the pump. I checked it at the pump and at the MPEM connector (pin 15 on connector 3) All the fuses are good (checked with meter) and everything else works.
I have it plugged in to the VTS power since it is the same type of connector and I'm not using it since I have installed the trim-fix and wired the VTS directly to the battery. The problem with the VTS power is that it is on all the time and the bilge pump automatic circuit cycles it on every 2.5 minutes - eventually it will run the battery down.
Any ideas?? I am considering just installing a battery disconnect switch, but I'll have to remember to flip it off after every trip out...
