Hello all who read this,
I bought a 99 Seadoo GTX 951 LTD that had been sitting for a bit (a year in an enclosed garage). I put in new fluids and ran it for a few hours and then it began to lose power and shut off when coming off the throttle. It would start right up after and would take off no problem. It only had issues at lower rpms. Pulled carbs off and cleaned then them side to side. There was only some dried fuel residue inside. The gaskets and diaphrams were in good condition, did not replace them. Put it all back together and now it will turn over and but not start. I can't find anything that came off that was not put back on. I am concerned that the fuel pump may have been he problem, as the carbs were fairly clean and jets weren't clogged. Is the only way to check it, to remove it? I pulled the fuel line off while trying to start it and nothing came out. Just looking for some advice.
Thanks.
