99 gtx rfi

Okay several problems I believe may all be related. First off it’s a 1999 gtx rfi bought it not running no idea what was wrong only thing knew was good compression and got a steal of a deal started with draining fluids and replacing had to replace several oil and water lines fuel pressure hasn’t been confirmed but there’s definitely a decent amount of pressure Compression is around 160 each spark is good and strong When running on the hose there is water leak somewhere under the head it appears but cant find anywhere it’s leaking also appears there is an exhaust leak down there after testing on lake yesterday found out it’s leaking from the resonator on the left side not sure if that would be what I thought I was seeing exhaust and water wise under the head but it runs really good on the trailer but in the water takes a bit to start then you have maybe 3k rpms total and just has nothing to it running out of ideas and options I’m more familiar with carb models so it’s killing me any help would be appreciated
 
You are going to have to find the water leaks.

IF it is also leaking exhaust from the resonator the exhaust is choking the engine out.

I agree but why is it choking it out on the water only I’m going to pull resonator to see but I would think it would choke on the trailer also. Could a bad resonator also keep it from pulling water from the lake?
 
No, resonator will not pull water from the lake but could leak water into the hull.

The engine isn't under any load on the trailer so it isn't a good test for anything other than confirming it does run.

Well now I’m trying to figure out why it won’t run under a load
 
Are the plugs black? Mine sort of had same issue, changed the coil pack and was good to go
 
Alright problem found water and exhaust leak were caused by a busted resonator the bogging problem is due to someone not remembering where they unplugged things. mass airflow sensor and tps sensor were swapped as well as the rave solenoid and rear injector being swapped so now it’s hauling across the water
 
There you go ! Excellent find. Not sure why sea doo made all connectors the same, when I did my engine used manual to find each color coded wire went to each sensor
 
Well it ran good this morning then took out this even ran at 40mph max for about an hour then started bogging yet again then just quit all the sudden had to tow it in any ideas
 
Any lights on? Or messages? Check your compression and make sure oil lines are full from pump
 
Good oil and compression still pulled fuel pump to check screen it’s in decent shape going to get replaced as soon as I can get one in found a busted hose to race solenoid replaced it and still same. No lights or warnings
 
Ok no lights that’s good seems to be mechanical issue, I look at the coil maybe getting hot and cutting out.

I’ve considered cool but doesn’t make sense when it will only idle on its own for a few seconds doesn’t even have time to heat up
 
Mine was good wide open, bring down to idle. Did that for a few seconds, then stalled, if caught it before it stalled it would bog then take off, spark was weak at idle it would load up and stall or bog. Hard restart had to be towed
 
This one will not idle more then few seconds then dies if you feather it’ll run sluggish and rev up haven’t put in the water since pulling everything again just required main wiring harness because they had a fire at some time a bunch of wires were melted so that’s all done
 
Okay found sheet and measurements for coil it checks out good and now have found out that injector 1 is getting absolutely no power not at the plug not even right outside the mpem checked the wires still absolutely no power injector 2 checks out but not injector one
 
I’m running out of ideas hopefully someone can help after fixing wiring different injectors and a new ecu it still is only misting fuel from one injector
