Just purchased a 99 GTX Fuel Injected RFI w/ new motor. Motor has 2 hrs or less run time. Starts great then after a few minutes of riding and getting warm it will not crank. Checked plugs and saw they had oil on them so I put new ones in and again it cranked right up and ran for about 10 or 15 minutes and quit. Dealer checked boat and said compression was good and engine was good, took fuel sample and told me it had some oil in gas. I drained the tank and put new gas in along with new plugs. Again it ran for about 15 minutes and then I noticed it was losing its top end. I would be going about 40 mph and still had some throttle left, but when I gave it more throttle it did not speed up. Gradually the rpms would keep dropping when I would give it gas until I could give it full throttle and all it would do is stay at about 2100 rpms and idle speed. The dealer said something about a sensor? Would love any help to get it back in the water, THANKS.
