Can someone help me a little. Going to be taking a ski out for testing purposes and trying to confirm which hose gets the hose pincher if needing to be towed back to dock. Will not dare take this thing out without a way to get back to the dock. It been sitting way to long for me to trust it. I do not feel like swimming back with towrope in my mouth pulling ski behind me.Looking in the manual I cannot tell which hose and where it connects to the engine.

My second question: Where does the rear electrical box mount. This ski has the box just sitting in bottom of hull and I do not think that is correct. It could bounce around and end up laying on the pump shaft.

Thanks
Tim

It’s the big 3/4” heater hose going from the pump to the middle of the engine just below the cylinder head.

Make sure you clamp it behind the tee that has the little hose that goes to the valve on the water box.

Thanks so much for the info. I was to the point of clamping them all off if needed to get it back to dock.

Tow it slow and you don't need a pincher. :) One day I'm gonna disconnect that hose from one ski and pull it behind another ski and determine what really happens. I'm really fuzzy on how that all works and how much water is drawn though that line when towing the ski.

Well the Ole girl ran good for first time in 10 years. Made it back to dock on it's own power. Seemed to plane out quick and respond great to the throttle. Not sure what the rpm's were or speed as Info Center does not work yet. (Info Center in another post.)
