99 GTX Limited - line out of top of oil tank

I noticed the cap on top of oil tank where sensor wires are attached also has a line coming out. Mine is not connected to anything - just a bare nipple. What does this line do, and where should i expect to find the line that is suppose to be connected to it?

You won't find a line. It is a breath one way valve so as the oil is used it lets air in.
