99 GTX Limited Carb ?

Can someone tell me the hose size ID and OD for the black tubing and the clamps on the carbs.


Looks like McMaster Carr has a reasonable price on packages of clamps. Just need to get the hose ID diameter to put correct size back on. When I pulled carbs the lines were not cracked or brittle but my local shops did not have the correct Tygon size. And to get it running I just left that tube out of the rebuild process. That black tubing is only hose that was not replaced during the fuel oil line replacement.

Now I know the ski runs am going to replace all the hose's on the ski.

You don’t need to replace the accelerator tubing unless it is cracked.

I replaced the accelerator fuel house on the 1998 GTX Limited the other day. This one was not cracked but I had trouble with a 2000 GTX last month. INstalling the airbox on that model pushed on the accelerator line and it was brittle so it cracked. I didn't realize it till I took it out for it's first test ride. I didn't want to have that happen again so.... I replaced it. The hose was hard but not cracked. For hose material in the future I'd like to get the exact stuff but I used the 1/8" that I had (I'm not sure 1/8" is the exact size but it worked for me. Maybe 5/32 might be better . NOTE: See the little orifice in the clear line. Don't toss that.

I'm gonna order some gray stuff just to have around. Good Luck
