Just rebuilt the above after a top end grab (possibly no oil getting through), and went to run it in and we seem to be getting way too much oil.

Have adjusted the oil flow down, dont want to adjust it any further as its already a heap less than what it was originally set to.

But it wont rev at all, blows a heap of smoke. As soon as you rev it past idle it fouls the plugs with oil.

I have searched the forums, but havent found anything related to this (only oil pump removal etc)

I though I would just remove the pump, but wouldnt know where to start and from reading what I did find it seems you still need oil to lubricate the engine?

What do you guys suggest?

Dont want to rebuild the thing again!

Is there somehow I can test the pump - clearly it works, but way too mych oil, possibly even intermittent no oil then a heap of oil comes through I dont know.

thanks for any advice

This might be a dumb question...but have you double checked your cable....if it came off or anything it will make it go into full rich mode....just a suggestion...because it happened to me

thanks for the fast reply

Went and checked "just incase" and the cable is fitted..

Can I just cut the feed lines to the carbis and loop them so that the 2 oil lines to the carbis are connected to each other, and the 2 feed lines from the pump are connected to each other and leave the pump on there?

thanks mate, will give that ago later in the week. Looks pretty simple to me!

If anyone else has any idea as to why it would be feeding to much oil, I would like to check that out also.
