I'm looking at buying a 98 GTX RFI with 140 hours on it. It has been however fouling the plugs after a day of riding it. The owner asked the dealership about it and they told him to run a can of seafoam through it to clear it up. He did that and has had two tanks of fuel through it and the plugs are fine. He said when it was fouling the plugs they were real black. Also he did a compression check and it has 150 psi on one cylinder and 148 psi on the other. What could some of the causes of it fouling the plugs? Would you avoid this ski?
