I'm currently in the process of rebuilding the carbs on my 97 XP. The ski has trouble starting cold and it bogs off idle and even seemed to lean seize on me so I figured start with the carbs. Got them apart and they look almost perfect. They are corroded around where the gaskets seat but the insides look really clean. I noticed the pop off spring was the same silver spring that is included with the Mikuni kits. I'm leaning toward pop off not have been set right last time these were rebuilt. The carbs do have accelerator pumps so what color/weight spring is the correct one for me? I've read that the black springs are correct for the 787 carbs without accelerator pumps but I cannot find the color for models with pumps.
