97 spx no start

Need some help just rebuilt carbs on my 97 spx used OSD back to oem rebuild kits. Black springs in the kit. New seats and needles. I did not check pop off as osd said it was not neccesary. Everything went together great went to fire up the ski and it will only start if I pull the choke. I don't have the air box on or the flame arrestor im not sure if that makes a huge difference but it will not start unless it is full choke it just starts and then will run for a few seconds and then dies like its getting no fuel. If I apply any throttle it just bogs out and dies as well.

Any idea of where to start with this.

It started befor i did the rebuild and idled fine but the carbs were full of mismatched parts springs etc lol go figure.

Having the flame arrestor and air box on makes a difference, try that first. Not sure your experience so…. Did you follow the carb rebuild thread by chance that @mikidymac

Didn’t mean to post that yet, yes definitely sounds like it’s not getting fuel, did you clean the 3 tiny holes in the carb throat? Good flow of carb cleaner there? Good black automotive fuel lines? Could be an air leak in the fuel system. Pressure test the carb and fuel pump after rebuild? Go through the carb rebuild thread first to see if you missed anything.
