Hey, I just took my pump off to put in new bearings, seals and wear ring. I noticed the impeller p/n was not the SPX # (271 000 331, 16-23 pitch) but it was the GTX p/n (271 000 660, 17-25 pitch). I'm new to these and am wondering what affect this impeller would have compared to the OEM one? Its a good ski in great shape but clearly someone in its history thought it need a higher-pitched impeller.

As an aside, for the stock engine 97 spx, what impeller would be the choice for nice top end w/o a terrible sacrifice on the bottom..........stock, what I have, something aftermarket, etc.
