97 speedster transducer mounting location?

I have a 97 twin engine speedster I want to add a depth finder and want to know if anyone has installed a transducer on the rear and how they ran the harness. These boat the water line is all the way to the rear deck so there is no place to run the cable harness above the water line .. has anyone done this and how did it work out thanks . Pictures would help

I had a depth finder in my 1996 Challenger, but it was glued to the bottom of the engine compartment so all wiring was inside. It worked great.

awesome i thought about doing the same do you remember what depth finder you had? i had the same ideal for a through hull

It was actually a fish finder, but I only used it for the depth feature. It was a Hummingbird but it was pretty old and no idea what the model was. But it was a pretty basic one by today's standards.
