i have a 97sp and on the trailer it seems to idle with a bit of a lope and backfires out the exhaust at higher rpm .in the water it will take off and bog out back to idle just as it start to plain out does not die .let it idle a min. try again same thing .. maybe timing problem ? i have replaced all fuellines and cleaned carb. this is a 717 single carb .. maybe i have fuel lines mixed up .. idk!
