Ok- other than the grease fitting that is on the driveshaft when you open the
rear lid, WHERE else should it be lubed and how do you get to the area?

I recommend checking, and changing the pump oil every year. It's in the cone that you can see looking in the pump. You could lube the cables. Other than that... just keep it clean.
