HI there im new to the forum and need some help. my seadoo starts just fine on dry land and idles good. but when i give it WOT it wont rev all the way, it stops half way and runs like crap shaking the entire ski. sometimes ill get lucky and it will rev all the way like its supposed to but when i back off and try again it will stop half way and run bad again. So when im on the water ill squeeze the throttle and get to ski to run like it should ill be flying down the lake when all of a sudden it cuts out. so i let off the throttle and when i try to get back on it, it just shakes the ski and wont get back on the plane. so then ill idle around for a few min and then somehow it takes off like a bat out of hell and then after a min or two just cuts out again. any suggestions would be great

With no load on land it will hit the rev limiter quickly, don't do that! Replace the fuel
selector valve switch. 99% of Seadoo problems are fuel system related. Whats been
done recently?

the carbs have been rebuilt recently. the problem existed prior to the rebuild and still continues after the rebuild. i dont think it is the fuel selector switch because i hooked up a gas tank from an outboard motor straight to the carbs and it still would do the same thing.

Sounds like mpem is loseing power from a loose or bad connection causeing you to re-arm it. Look very closely at the amp connector pins on the harness both female
& male for corrosion or hole enlarged from somebody's electrical probe. Make sure rear box is dry, both fuses good & female holder is not corroded. Check the coil for
any crack, and the ground at very bottom is clean. Bill
