so i bought a 97 seadoo gsx not too long ago and i knew it need some work so i put some parts in like a starter,battery, fuel lines, stator but i got it on the water today starts just fine and stays idle between 1100-1400 rpms but when i give it throttle it shows it will only go up to 3400 rpms and some times it will spit and jump up a little bit so an hour goes by and im trying to fix it on the dock and i went back out and i hit my trim to move it up and down because it does work i hit the throttle at the same time and it took off. i found that if i hold the vts trim buttons and gas it it will go past 4000 rpms and run just fine i dont know where to look or even where to start.
